Perkins is one of the most important providers of diesel and gas engines in the world.

The company was founded in 1932 in Peterborough, England, by Frank Perkins and Charles Wallace Chapman and it was specialized in designing and manufacturing high-speed diesel engines. At first, the diesel engines were heavy and slow and one of the most important goals in the history of the company has been the production of the first high-speed diesel engine in 1932, which was the Perkins' four-cylinder Vixen. After World War II the company made two series of engines, called P4 and P6. In 1959 the company was purchased by Massey Feguson.

Nowadays Perkins is focused on the development of its engine in order to reduce the emission of gas and to meet stricter rules, and on the development of new series of engines. Every engine is designed in order to reduce the costs and increase productivity.

This ongoing research allows the Company to provide a wide range of reliable power solution which enable it to meet the requirements of every customer.

The range of products includes the compact 400 Series engine, used to produce 50 kW, but also more powerful engines as those of the 1200 Series and the 4000 series, used to produce 240 kw and 2500 kVA. The company also offers spare parts and replacements. This way, they are able to satisfy the needs of the customers and the emission standards in more than 800 applications.

Their products are used in several industries as the industrial, agricultural, power generation and construction ones.
